Dr. Melba S. Ketchum's Dna finding
Dr. Ketchum has found DNA of the legendary beast, Bigfoot. From genetic testing it was found that the human relative came about some 15,000 years ago. Reports from Dr. Ketchum suggest that cryptids had sex with modern females, which resulted in a hairy hominid hybrids. Although the science community does not believe she is right, she uses her five-year- long DNA study to try and prove her finding. Currently her research is under peer-review, because the species she claims to have existed some 15,000 years ago is Bigfoot.
Her research involved three "whole nuclear genomes from purported Sasquatch samples. The genome sequencing shows that Sasquatch mtDNA is identical to modern Homo sapiens, but Sasquatch nuDNA is a novel, unknown hominin related to Homo sapiens and other primate species. Our data indicate that the North American Sasquatch is a hybrid species, the result of males of an unknown hominin species crossing with female Homo sapiens," the statement reads. (Radford)
Did She Have Proof?
For right now there is no evidence. Since her research has not been published in an peer-reviews scientific journal, there may be no way to find out if the research even existed. Until we can find out if it is real or not, Dr. Melba Ketchum will not let anyone see her evidence. Since she does not let anyone see her evidence, it is hard to conclude that her research is valid.
Since her research is so suspicious, people have reason to believe that the samples were contaminated. It could have been any other animal and could have been tampered with a concoction of anything in a form of human saliva. For now, no one outside of Dr. Ketchum's team has seen how, where and by whom the Bigfoot DNA was collected.

skeptical?
Doubtful News found that Melba Ketchum, who was a former veterinarian, who moved to genetic research 27 years ago, runs a DNA Diagnostics Inc., based in Texas. The peer-reviewed scientific journal that Katchum's work would have been published, but her research was declined due to a leak on a Russian-based International Center of Hominology website.
The leak was made by Igor Burtsev, but Melba was the one who issued the official word, but as anticipated, commentators have been harsh towards skeptics and Dr. Ketchum.
The mistake was that the "unknown" DNA got labeled as "angel DNA" by reporter R. Lindsay, who has leaked faulty information before on unnamed sources of Bigfoot blogs.
For right now Dr. Ketchum's reputation is being question on her poor business at DNA Diagnostics and her Facebook updates. She claimed that she had seen Bigfoot as well as believing she found the creature's DNA.
THe dispute that is more of an issue is that people do not know how to verify how they obtained the DNA. Another thing that people are suggesting is that the samples contain human genetic traces. In the study, Ketchum and the coauthors kept everything a secret and away from the public without any supporting data. As for the genetic traces, it is easy to contaminate the samples in order to make up a new species of a hairy hominid hybrid.
Since the peer review and the publication process does not take long, society will have to wait and see what the experts conclude. Until the conclusion comes forward, the skeptical judgements will continue.
CONCLUSION:
Everything is suspect-the data, the analysis, the procedure, and the conclusion. Nothing is reliable because no one knows who the team of scientists were, Melba was quiet with her work, and the physical evidence has not been seen. This "Bigfoot discovery" has not put us any closer to where we were before this incident because there was no significant data, no boy, and no trust in how Dr Ketchum obtained the DNA.
